Having spent 17 years employed by Perkin Elmer in their Atomic Absorption department, covering all aspects of the technique. I could see a business opportunity. This is where the idea for Tecmec began.

Having installed over 300 exhaust ventilation systems specifically for Atomic Absorption spectroscopy, I found that this was the ideal place to source used spectrometers. Using my experience gained from many years as a service technician I was able to refurbish these spectrometers and offer them for sale on the second hand market.

Over the years Tecmec has supplied hundreds of Spectrometers, mainly Varian, Perkin Elmer and Unicam.
